This is a Full-time position working evenings for a fast-paced hotel. Job Description Special Qualifications, Education, or Licenses: Must meet any city, county, state, or other legal minimum age requirement to sell/serve alcoholic beverages. (T.I.P.S./TABC Card) Food Handlers Certificate Required TABC certification required Essential Elements: Ability to adhere to Royal Sonesta Houston grooming standards. Ability to lift and carry a server tray weighing approximately 10 pounds in the overhead style of service. Ability to lift and move approximately 25 pounds. Ability to bend, squat, and reach. Ability to stand and walk continuously. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and direct them to various facilities and functions within the hotel. Closing and preparation of the cashier report. Closing duties, which include cleaning, sanitizing, and replenishing. Maintaining the cleanliness of tables and the surrounding area, as well as the high tea and service bar area. To perform other work-related duties as assigned by Management.
