Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Pay Range is $184,211.06-$307,025.93

Job Description Summary:
The VP, Business Development - R&O leads the strategy to execution process for Option Care Rare and Orphan business model. This includes building and maintaining strategic partnerships with our Pharmaceutical partners, developing and deeply understanding the patient journey, uncovering the value drivers of the customers (patients, pharma, physicians, and payers) and developing specific programs to address these needs.
This Individual Contributor role will partner with a cross-functional team of stakeholders to execute on Rare and Orphan programs, driving results and meeting the needs of all stakeholders along the patient journey. The VP, Business Development - R&O should excel in the development of value propositions and communication with business partners. Job Description:
Cultivate relationships with Pharmaceutical manufacturers in the Rare & Orphan space, ensuring Option Care Health is the #1 choice for their needs.
Develop strategies, value propositions, and processes to propel the organization to excel in Rare & Orphan wins.
Lead a cross-functional team to design and execute programs that meet the needs of all stakeholders along the patient journey in the Rare & Orphan space.
Provides leadership for regularly scheduled business reviews, accumulating evidence that demonstrates
OPCH's position as the partner of choice and providing insights for the partner that they otherwise would not have access.
Leads in the identification and execution of plans to improve the enhanced service profile for all assigned therapies. Lead negotiations for contract changes in discount or services.
Collaborates and communicates effectively with internal teams (including but not limited to implementation, operations, and revenue cycle management (RCM)) to design and implement processes and structure of the manufacturer's program and assure proper functioning of the program.
Directs the continuous review of manufacturer programs intended to identify potential issues before they rise to a critical level and communicate them internally for corrective action and with the partner to assure satisfaction.
