Responsibilities
- Execute and control end-to-end daily payment routines, ensuring timely and accurate delivery against SLAs.
- Monitor payment flows/queues; investigate breaks and exceptions, reconcile balances, and escalate as needed.
- Manage reference/master data: account setup/closure/maintenance; account blocks/unblocks per policy.
- Produce and analyze recurring metrics and reports to surface trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain and update SOPs; support process mapping ("as-is" / "to-be").
- Drive process improvements focused on efficiency, risk & controls, and client experience.
- Required qualifications
- Advanced student or graduate in Business, Administration, Information Systems, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in payments operations or similar areas (Payments, Reconciliations, Collections, Tax, Controls).
- Fluent Spanish and advanced English.
- Strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, and ability to perform under pressure.
- Excel (e.g., PivotTables, XLOOKUP, ).
Requirements
- Portuguese (interaction with Brazil).
- Solid understanding of the payment lifecycle, including cut-offs, value dates, and returns/repairs (conceptual level).
- Power BI and/or basic SQL (reading/writing simple queries) for reporting and analysis.
- Experience with SOPs, process mapping, or continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with reconciliations, queue monitoring, and ticketing tools.
