Pinehurst Country Club is currently recruiting a part -time Kids Activity Facilitator ! Job Summary (Essential Functions) Responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a variety of engaging activities for children while ensuring their safety, well-being, and enjoyment. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives through play, creativity, and education. Job Tasks/Duties Develop a diverse range of activities, including games, arts and crafts, sports, and educational programs, that cater to different age groups and interests. Ensure that activities are age-appropriate, safe, and enjoyable for all participants. Maintain a safe and secure environment for children by implementing safety protocols and guidelines. Supervise children during activities, both indoors and outdoors, to prevent accidents and maintain order. Build positive relationships with children, fostering a fun and inclusive atmosphere. Encourage active participation, creativity, and social interaction among children. Be prepared to adapt activities and strategies based on the needs and preferences of the children. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during activities. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues to provide updates on activities and children's progress. Collaborate with the team to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded program. Ensure all materials, equipment, and supplies are in good condition and well-organized for activities. Report any equipment issues and assist with ordering replacements as needed. Maintain records of attendance, incidents, and feedback from parents or guardians. Provide regular reports and updates to the management team Licenses and Qualifications Previous experience working with children in a similar role is preferred. A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development and well-being. Strong communication and interpersonal skills . Creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities. Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to s tand for prolonged periods of time. Moderate noise level in the work environment .
