Associate's Degree or equivalent Preferred. Required years of relevant experience in lieu of associate's degree may be considered
Completion of a Surgical Tech First Assistant or Certified Surgical Assistant Program Required
Must receive certification as a Certified Surgical Assistant Certification (CSA) through the NCCSA, or Certified Surgical First Assistant Certification (CSFA) through the NBSTSA Upon Hire Required
2 years of relevant experience; Surgical assisting experience Preferred
Certified (CST) - AST Association of Surgical Technologist Preferred
Certified (CST) - NBSTSA National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Preferred
Certified (CSFA) - NBSTSA National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Upon Hire Required Or
At least one Certification from preferred list:
Certified (CSA) - NCCSA National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants Upon Hire Required Or
Certified (SA-C) - ABSA America Board Surgical Assistant Upon Hire Required

Scope of work
