Project QS and Drafter Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BQ)
• Conduct tender analysis, evaluation, and contract negotiation
• Prepare and manage sub-contractor agreements and payment claims
• Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow
• Prepare progress claims, valuations, and final accounts
• Assess and certify subcontractor and supplier claims
• Handle variation orders, extensions of time, and cost impacts
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, MOM, BCA, and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and site teams
• Prepare regular cost reports and financial forecasts for management

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 2-5 years relevant construction experience
• Knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. SIA, PSSCOC)
• Familiar with local construction practices and regulations
• Proficient in MS Excel and costing software
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
