We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Food Service Assistant to join our team in GLASGOW, United Kingdom. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing efficient and friendly service. Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining and kitchen areas Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations Adhere to food safety regulations and company guidelines Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas Process guest payments accurately and efficiently Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality Support special events and catering services as needed Genuine passion for food service and customer satisfaction Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and guest needs Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods Attention to detail in food presentation and guest service Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred Mon - Fri work week Previous experience in catering, food service, or hospitality is desirable. Basic food hygiene knowledge or certification is a plus (training available). Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach. Attention to detail with a focus on high standards of presentation and service. Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Knowledge of COSHH regulations and food safety legislation desirible but not essential as training will be given.
