Quality - Responsible for team's compliance and meeting the quality standards as defined by cGMPs, the Global Quality Standards, and local procedures. This includes ensuring that all regulatory based PM's are completed on schedule.
Planning & Scheduling Excellence - Leads team of maintenance planners and schedulers who schedule all maintenance, calibration, and repair work for the site.
Strong proficiency in using and training on GMARS.
Deep understanding of maintenance scheduling, planning, procedures, and PM programs.
Maintains and monitors backlog to prevent delinquent PM's.
Knowledge of engineering drawing systems and different types of equipment and instrumentation within the building.
Verifies the availability of parts, materials, and specials tools required for the jobs and if needed will order parts and materials for planned jobs.
Maintains liaison and coordination between customers and maintenance activities to ensure minimal scheduling conflicts.
Good communication skills, will be required to interact one-on-one and in group sessions with operations, quality, engineers, and maintenance teams.
Responsible for maintenance planning and scheduling staffing including recruitment and talent development.
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma
5+ years of industrial maintenance planning and scheduling experience in an FDA regulated industry.
Previous experience in maintenance leadership (supervisor, coordinator, or lead) in an FDA regulated industry.
Strong understanding of CMMS systems (GMARS).

The first-ever facility of its kind, combining research and manufacturing in a single location, the Medicine Foundry will allow Lilly to further develop innovative solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and increase capacity for clinical trial medicines, while also reducing costs and environmental impact.
The Planning & Scheduling Supervisor is a key leader responsible for overseeing all maintenance planning and craft scheduling to ensure the company's assets are managed in compliance with cGMP and other applicable standards. This role oversees the planning and scheduling of all non-emergency maintenance. The Planning & Scheduling Supervisor leads a team of maintenance planners and schedulers by fostering a culture of safety, technical expertise in CMMS (GMARS), and innovation. This role will work closely with operations departments to determine equipment availability for maintenance scheduling.
In addition, this role ensures alignment of maintenance planning programs and initiatives with organizational goals for safety, quality, and efficiency, directly supporting the delivery of novel medicines for clinical trials within The Medicine Foundry. This position will be responsible for developing initial processes and requirements for the planning and scheduling team in preparation for operation.
