Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, BioProcess, BioTechnology or Mechanical Engineering
2-4 years of previous work in food processing, equipment and systems for food processing or process engineering
Good proficiency in English
Skills and Competences
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good knowledge as user of CAD software (AutoCad, Inventor, SolidWorks) and MS Office/365 package
Good ground on the fundamentals of balance mass, P&ID, process flow diagrams, heat transfer, thermal processing and physical parameters of food stuff
Strong communication skills, able to communicate in a clear way technical concepts to a non-expert group in food processing
Previous work with fruit and/or dairy processing is desirable
Working conditions
Primarily based at Puebla JBT Marel office
Available for traveling not only in Mexico but abroad, visiting customers and other JBT Marel business units

On a given day you may:
Serve as the bridge between Sales and the customer, identifying key requirements from the customer that will bring an opportunity into a solid offer based on our JBT Marel portfolio and knowledge
Approach and interact with the customer's personnel for a good assessment of his requirements and wishes, organizing the data gathered during this approach in a way that we can develop a sound solution for him
Develop a solution following the best technique in the industry, considering safety standards, regional regulations, constraints from existing installation and mapping the strength and weaknesses of the proposed solution
Write the technical offer, detailing the solution in a clear way and covering all requirements from the customer
Present and explain the solution to the customer, preferably including Total Customer Ownership examples to make clear that our offer is the best one
Partnership with other JBT Marel business units in the development of the solution
Support the Cost Estimators in the cost analysis for the proposed solution
Collaborate with PMO to make clear the goals of the proposed solution and critical points of attention
Support JBTM product engineering groups in the development of the solution
Support Customer Care in defining resources for implementing the solution at customer's facility
