Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor slitting equipment to meet production goals while maintaining safety standards and quality specifications
- Execute efficient job changeovers and ensure safe handling of slit rolls/materials according to procedures
- Perform regular quality control inspections and maintain proper material segregation/labeling
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain optimal performance and product consistency
- Input and track accurate production data in PRISM system, including waste, WIP, time codes, and raw materials

- Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus
- Demonstrated stable work history

- Physical Demands: The associate will be exposed to the manufacturing environment where hazards and requirements may include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to climb, kneel, bend, stoop, reach and squat
- Manual dexterity for grasping, machine operation, and fine motor skills
- Visual acuity including color discrimination
- Use of ladders and other equipment
- Ability to wear required PPE (hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses)

- Work Conditions: The majority of tasks will be performed in a manufacturing setting with potential exposure to:
- Noise levels above 85 dB

- Must be able to work flexible shifts
- May require overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- An additional $2.50/hr premium for hours worked on NIGHT Shift only (qualifying hours vary by location). 6pm to 6am
