Position Summary As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in bringing products to life by defining how they are built, scaled, and continuously improved. From early product development through full production, you will work closely with design, engineering, and operations teams to develop efficient and reliable manufacturing processes. This includes reviewing product designs and translating them into practical manufacturing solutions, determining appropriate methods and processes, and supporting the design and build of tooling and equipment required for production. You will also collaborate with external suppliers to define manufacturing requirements and establish clear quality expectations to ensure consistent performance. In this role, you will provide direct engineering support to your assigned manufacturing areas, helping troubleshoot production challenges, reduce variability, and improve overall process performance. You will be responsible for ensuring both new and existing products are designed with manufacturability in mind, while maintaining and evolving the overall process strategy for your area, including equipment selection, plant layout, tooling, and operator training. A key part of the position is driving continuous improvement by applying Lean, Kaizen, and value analysis and value engineering principles to enhance safety, quality, and cost performance. Your work will have a direct impact on product quality, operational efficiency, and the successful launch and sustainment of manufacturing programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Drive process improvements through standard work which aid in improved productivity and flow as well as looking for opportunities to introduce automation into production to reduce cycle times. Develop processes, procedures and tooling used to produce final assembly products, related sub-assemblies, and new products. Ability to complete all engineering & validation steps required in a new product line set up from development through full production launch. Support sustainment activities by aiding in the selection of replacement components when existing parts become obsolete. Train production personnel as needed on process changes and improvements. Periodically review processing, assembly, and packing methods, procedures and equipment for capability and efficiency of assigned areas and ensure compliance with all equipment PM and calibration requirements. Other projects and duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Process, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience in fixture and/or mechanical designs Experience in 3-D drafting software (SolidWorks) Must reside within a commutable distance to Quakertown, PA.
