Execute internal and executive communications programs: help align messaging with the company's vision, mission, and product positioning.
Write and produce employee communications, including announcements, newsletters, executive messages, town halls, all-hands, and kick-off events.
Manage and continuously optimize the internal communications strategy, including ownership of the editorial calendar.
Build a strong understanding of the voice of the employee by gathering feedback and signals to inform what we communicate and how.
Partner cross-functionally with leaders across all functions to deliver communications initiatives end-to-end and keep our narrative consistent across channels.
Support company-wide and leadership meetings: help craft the messaging, agenda, and speaker prep.
Leverage AI to scale your own work and continue to uplevel internal communications across Checkr.
What you bring:
Experience: 8+ years in internal or corporate communications, ideally at a fast-growing tech company.
Executive communications: You can write and tailor content for specific audiences with a deep understanding of messaging, positioning, and stakeholder needs. You're comfortable working with executives at all levels and can translate their voice into clear, compelling communications.
AI fluency: You're a sophisticated user of AI tools and bring them into your everyday workflow to scale your impact and uplevel communications.
Editorial judgment and project leadership: You know what to amplify, what to skip, and how to land it. You can run multi-stakeholder communications projects end-to-end, measure what's working through engagement and sentiment, and adapt as you go.
Employee empathy: You bring genuine curiosity about what employees need and care about, and translate those signals into communications that land.
Steady through change: You've delivered communications through reorgs, leadership transitions, and other moments of high stakes, and know how to bring clarity when employees need it most.
