The Director will be an integral member of the US Medical Affairs-Dermatology team, as a part of the broader US Specialty Care business unit supporting current marketed medicines, as well as compounds in clinical development, pipeline medicines, and life-cycle management depending on identified business needs and priorities. The Director will provide Pfizer brand teams with customer and clinical insights to inform Pfizer strategies on critical health issues, facilitate the development of customer-focused scientifically-based and clinically relevant resources and tools to support medical communications and engagements to improve patient outcomes and access to quality medicines.
The Director will develop long-term relationships with a wide variety of key healthcare stakeholders and customers, including professional organizations, patient societies, healthcare providers, and key opinion leaders to demonstrate clinical and economic value of our medicines. These activities are intended to educate and help inform on the benefit/risk profile and the safe and effective use of our medicines with HCPs and formulary decision-makers through medical presentations, pharmaco-economic analyses, and outcomes evaluations; along with the Organized Customer Group and Field Medical colleagues. Additional customer collaborations are built with the goal of aligning corporate medical priorities with the specific needs of the customer to advance the quality of patient care in areas of mutual scientific and clinical interest, to identify provider and/or patient care gaps and knowledge gaps, and areas for quality improvement interventions.
