Your responsibilities as a ROV Supervisor: The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to; Oversee the safe and effective operation of Saab Seaeye and Kystdesign ROV systems across all phases of offshore work, including mobilisation, dive operations, and demobilisation. Lead the ROV team, ensuring all personnel are briefed, supervised, and supported in delivering operational tasks to the highest standards of safety and technical quality. Act as the primary offshore point of contact for all ROV-related activity, maintaining clear communication with the Offshore Construction Manager, vessel crew, and client representatives. Ensure full compliance with Boskalis Subsea Services QHSE policies, project-specific procedures, and applicable IMCA guidelines and recommended practices. Conduct and lead pre-dive checks, toolbox talks, and risk assessments, promoting proactive safety culture and operational readiness. Monitor ROV system performance, ensuring early fault detection, effective troubleshooting, and coordination of repairs with the offshore team and onshore support as needed. Maintain accurate operational documentation, including dive logs, technical reports, defect records, planned maintenance logs, and asset utilisation tracking. You can make your mark as an ROV Supervisor if you have: A minimum of 540 days offshore in ROV - CV with work history to date with logged piloting hours demonstratable on IMCA ROV Logbook. Multi-discipline Project Experience: Logged piloting, fault-finding, and team leadership experience, Saab Seaeye and/or Kystdesign systems (preferred) and prior experience leading ROV operations in construction, decommissioning, IRM, or survey scopes in offshore renewables or oil & gas (preferred). Valid and current IMCA Company Member Competence Certificate or completed and validated IMCA Competence Portfolio supporting completion of all ROV Senior Pilot Technician (R02) competencies. Technical qualifications: recognized technical qualification in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or hydraulic discipline (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, military trade, or equivalent). Exposure to simulator-based training or ROC operations (preferred) - familiarity with ROV simulation systems or real-time operations centers (ROCs) as part of project delivery. Involvement in incident investigations or technical reviews - contributed to technical debriefs, reporting or lessons learned related to ROV system performance or operational issues. Leadership & Communication - demonstrated ability to lead teams, communicate clearly under pressure, and interface effectively with clients, vessel crew, and project management. Technical & Operational Oversight - proven capability to supervise operations involving tooling integration, ROV system performance management, and technical troubleshooting. Assessment & Verification - approved company Competence Assessor or willingness to undertake Assessor training to support development of junior personnel. OPITO approved BOSIET with CA-EBS, MIST (for UKCS only) and OEUK Medical (including Bi-Deltoid shoulder measurements.
