Cloud Engineer

About the role

As a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer , you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing our hybrid infrastructure, which includes cloud services and on-premises systems. You will work on deploying and maintaining cloud environments, managing VMware virtualization, and providing Dell hardware support. This position requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to improving infrastructure efficiency and security.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud services (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud) under established architecture guidelines .
• Manage and optimize VMware virtualization environments , including provisioning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting .
• Provide Dell server hardware support , including installation, configuration, firmware updates, and diagnostics .
• Assist with cloud migration projects and hybrid infrastructure integration .
• Implement security best practices across cloud and on-prem environments .
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve infrastructure issues .
• Automate routine tasks using scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash) .
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems and processes .
• C ollaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure improvements and new technology adoption.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) .
• At least 5 -7 years of experience in IT infrastructure or C loud E ngineering roles .
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure services .
• Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization (vSphere, ESXi ).
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems.
• Experience with Dell server hardware (installation, troubleshooting, lifecycle management) .
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs) .
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automation .
• Understanding of security principles and compliance standards .
• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate , VMware VCP , or Dell hardware certifications are a plus.
