Nominates , confirms and schedules pipeline movements through use of propriety and third-party scheduling systems.
Work to minimize producer/shipper imbalances on gathering & processing systems and OBA imbalances on interstate pipelines on a daily basis .
Coordinates closely with plant o perations, producers and pipelines to ensure accurate inlet and residue flows and ensure system balance .
Provides and communicates allocations .
Retrieve, compile, input, and monitor commodity movements daily into complex excel spreadsheets and the Quorum Gas Scheduling system .
Ensure accurate reporting of allocation and imbalance information to internal and external customers .
Develops subject matter expertise on all logistics-based scheduling systems and plans.
Work closely with field and plant operators .
Work closely with producers, shippers, and interstate pipeline representatives.
Work closely with business development and traders in executing, implementing, and monitoring contracts to ensure compliance and penalty avoidance.

Initiates and coordinates movements independently through Marathon's distribution channels based on a given plan.
Identifies and communicates constraints and begins to identify optimization opportunities thr oughout the whole system .
Gains knowledge of the costs of transportation associated with the movements o f the system . Learns the regional supply picture.

Education and Experience
Scheduler:
Bachelor's degree required or five ( 5 ) years of scheduling experience in lieu.
Two (2) or more years of industry-related experience
required
Scheduler Senior:
Bachelor's degree required or five ( 5 ) years of scheduling experience in lieu.
Four (4) or more years of industry-related experience
required
