WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US The Contract Management team plays a critical role in ensuring that SimCorp's client contracts are effectively governed throughout their lifecycle, with a particular focus on the post‑execution phase. This role leads the Contract Management (CM) team , which is part of the Legal & Compliance division , and acts as a strategic partner to stakeholders in the Legal & Compliance division, Finance, Business and Operations teams across SimCorp. By translating executed agreements into clear operational guidance, Contract Management enables SimCorp to deliver on its contractual commitments, manage commercial risk, and identify value‑creating opportunities embedded in client contracts. The team consists of 6 contract management professionals , based in Copenhagen and Manila , operating in a distributed, global setup and working closely with regional and global stakeholders. OUR MISSION AND SCOPE Manage client contracts with a focus on the post‑execution phase, ensuring contractual obligations, assumptions, and changes are properly governed, monitored, and executed across the organization. Scope of the Contract Management team includes responsibility for: Managing post‑execution contract changes, including amendments, renewals, addenda, SOWs, and termination agreements Monitoring contractual obligations for SaaS clients to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment Monitoring business assumptions (e.g. users, transactions, holdings, environments) and identifying gaps, risks, and commercial opportunities Providing contractual guidance and interpretation to internal stakeholders based on executed agreements Maintaining the central contract repository, metadata, and access controls as the single source of truth Owning and continuously improving contract management systems, data quality, and reporting Defining and tracking KPIs related to contract compliance, risk, and value realization Sharing contract knowledge, standards, and insights across the organization WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR As Manager of the Contract Management team, you will set the direction, priorities, and operating model for Contract Management at SimCorp. Your responsibilities include: Leading, developing, and coaching the team to cultivate a high‑performance, pragmatic, and collaborative culture Further defining the role and mandate of Contract Management in close partnership with Legal & Compliance leadership Establishing clear priorities, objectives, and effective ways of working for the team Acting as an escalation point for complex contractual, operational, and stakeholder matters Ensuring strong collaboration and alignment with key stakeholders Driving continuous improvement of contract management standards, systems, and processes WHAT WE VALUE Most importantly, you can see yourself thriving in this leadership role and shaping how contract management creates value for SimCorp.
