5+ years of performance-based sales experience, preferably in the franchise industry
Understanding of franchise business fundamentals, unit-level operations, franchise best practices and ideal franchise owners
Ability to quickly build relationships and motivate others
Ability to accurately forecast and assess risk
Strong financial analysis ability with ability to build Excel and financial modeling for diligence and deal negotiation
Strong organizational, project management, written and oral communication skills
Good time management and critical thinking skills
Proactive, assertive and polished leader with a relentless pursuit
Ability to travel as needed (~25% of the time)

Base salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 CAD. Base salary for this position may vary based on relevant factors such as experience, education, location, and skills.

Job Summary:
The Firehouse Subs team is looking for a Sr. Manager, Business Development, Canada & US Central to join our Firehouse Subs Franchising Team. The Sr. Manager, Business Development leads the efforts on franchising, from initial contact to qualification, to close, within their designated territory.
RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week out of our office in Toronto, ON.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed new restaurant growth targets with new and existing franchisees in designated territory
Eagerly seek out and identify franchisee candidates via sales - phone, networking, referrals, social media, road shows and our lead generation marketing partners
Build and cultivate relationships with franchisee candidates as a trusted advisor, educating candidates on the Firehouse Subs franchise model and franchise disclosure document
Align with cross-functional team to understand and master market planning
Facilitate introductions of the candidates to other internal stakeholders for deal approval
Keep accurate records and provide timely updates in CRM platform
Abide by all state, federal, and local laws pertaining to franchise sales & disclosure information
