WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US At SimCorp , we facilitate the streamlining of investments, accounting, and operations for major global financial institutions. We do this through IT systems, proces se s, and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects is at the core of what we do. To introduce our software to our clients, business consultants are es se ntial to us . In the role of Lead Business Consultant specializing in ABOR (accounting book of records), your participation will be instrumental in the expansion of our market unit and in advancing the outcomes of our clients' projects . You will normally be working full-time on implementation projects, which require your special experti se in the ABOR area, and you will be responsible for all aspects of the project stream . You will act as an important sparring partner for your clients and effectively monitor , coordinate, and escalate issues as needed. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Responsibility for major parts of SimCorp Dimension® implementation projects: You know the customers' requirements and proces se s related to Accounting at banks, as se t managers and insurers and outline solutions for optimal u se of SimCorp Dimension® Clo se cooperation with the project manager and key role in developing projects to success Gain understanding of Simcorp One and utilize them for project delivery Key contact for our customers for all questions in connection with SimCorp Dimension® Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job Contribute to improving best practices for implementation proces se s and promote topics across projects Actively participate in know-how exchange with colleagues on an international level WHAT WE VALUE Most importantly, you can se e your se lf contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to be good at se veral of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest. Previous experience as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for as se t managers, as se t owners, banks or consulting firms Excellent know-how in at least two of the following areas: Our candidates will have experience in one or more of the following fields: As se t Management - Back Office - or Financial Reporting Consulting or Professional Se rvices within the As se t Management se ctor An implementation role for a software vendor specializing in As se t Management software As se t Management candidates should have 5-10 years of experience working hands on with the investment and/or fund accounting functions and the enterpri se applications that enable them Consultants should have experience with multiple enterpri se implementations involving ABOR functions on the buy side, and hands on experience with applications similar to Dimension Degree within Business discipline (Accounting, Finance, or Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences preferred Se lf-starter with a can-do mind se t Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver the results on time Have Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English - both oral and written Basic understanding of financial industry/products and related accounting Knowledge/experience with accounting for insurance industry is a plus CPA, CA, or CFA qualification is a plus Hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension is a plus Ability to travel to client's site
