Administration and project management of funded research programs. Schedule meetings, organize data, and prepare reports or other communications for the PI.
Collaborate with postdoctoral fellows and graduate students on various projects. Train graduate students in NGS experimental protocols and analysis.
Conduct general laboratory duties, including the ordering of supplies, tracking inventory, and overseeing the maintenance of basic laboratory equipment.
Spearhead, perform, and troubleshoot human antibody research tasks, including the preparation, processing and bioinformatic analysis of B-cell DNA libraries using NGS.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related discipline with 4 years of relevant experience. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Requirements
Previous experience with cloning, mutagenesis, and protein expression.
Salary Range
$55,000 + DOE
