Continuous Improvement & Effective Problem Solving
Support the organization in achieving SQDCG and financial objectives through effective application of the Regal Business System tools and methodologies to achieve continuous improvement.
With the leadership team, partner to understand the current site business objectives and financial targets, develop a vision for the site's future operational/growth needs and implement a plan to achieve those outcomes.
Provide subject matter expertise across the organization by partnering with functional, business and site leaders to assess current processes and identify process/performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
Manage a robust Regal Business System review process for selecting, scoping and prioritizing improvement initiatives (i.e. Policy Deployment, CI Roadmap, Kaizens, Projects and CI Talent) to achieve goals.
Recognized as a leader with the ability to identify, diagnose and solve even the most complex business problems utilizing a fact-based, team-oriented and structured approach.
Coach, mentor, and train site/functional members on continuous improvement methods based on Subject Matter Expertise.
Drive and exemplify a positive attitude in the face of adversity to solve problems and align a team around effective problem solving.
Skilled and experienced in decomposing a strategic vision into actionable strategies and tactics.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field. Advanced degree preferred.
5-10 years related work experience
Master Black Belt in Lean / Six Sigma (or equivalent expertise)

Scope of leadership role
Provide site leadership with the implementation and application of the Regal Business System. Primary focus is on developing and instilling a culture of Continuous Improvement while achieving year over year operational performance improvements. Responsible for the leading, influencing, training and progressing the site's maturity of the understanding and effective application of the Regal Business System. Key partnership with the site Plant Manager and leadership team, will guide the team with prioritizing and focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery ,Cost and Growth (SQDCG). The outcome of achieving financial performance that exceeds our stakeholders' expectations and enables profitable growth in the business. This key site leadership role will report directly to the Plant Manager.
