Lead Security Guard

About the role

You will serve as a LEAD SECRUITY GUARD in the FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional LEAD SECURITY GUARD performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Distributing and balancing workloads for the shift.; 2) Controlling personnel and vehicle access to facilities, including highly sensitive and restricted areas; 3) Conducting foot or vehicle patrols to check for security breaches and potential hazards.; 4) Serving as an intermediary between security guards and base police; and 5) Responding to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies.
