Requirements

To success in this role, you bring:
Education: A Master's degree in Social Sustainability, Psychology, Social Work, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience: 8+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of direct or matrix leadership managing multidisciplinary teams.
Expertise: Proven success in social sustainability strategy (mental health, wellbeing) and an extensive command of Swiss social insurance frameworks (IV, UVG, KTG) and labor legislation.
Skills: Fluency in both German and English; strong emotional intelligence, discretion, and boundary-setting capabilities.
Digital Mindset: High proficiency with case management software, HRIS (Workday), and an openness to leveraging AI tools to enhance advisory workflows.

As the Head of People Local Care Solutions , you will define and lead our local People Care strategy in Switzerland, ensuring operational excellence across social sustainability, counseling and career transitions initiatives. Joining the Switzerland Catalyst Network, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to Senior Management, translating global frameworks into impactful local practices that enhance the long-term employee experience.
Your Opportunity
In this role, you will lead two teams (Employee Counseling and New Orientation Center Coaches) to cultivate an inclusive, resilient, and psychologically safe work environment where every employee feels a sense of belonging.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Social Sustainability Architecture : Shape, operationalize, and lead the strategy for local social sustainability priorities and designing frameworks that foster an inclusive and psychologically safe work culture. Align local wellbeing and mental health initiatives with our global Sustainability Strategy, bridging internal partners and external social insurance networks.
Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the future collaboration model and strategic direction for the People Care department, ensuring alignment with country-wide priorities.
Team Evolution: Lead the department's transition into an agile, merged team structure, driving continuous learning, professional growth, and skill-based career paths.
Policy & Compliance: Serve as a strategic advisor on policy development and organizational design, ensuring full compliance with Swiss social security laws and wider legislation.
Transformation & Employability: Partner with Senior Management on the "people side" of organizational changes, overseeing outplacement measures, Social Plans, and negotiations with employee representatives.
Counseling & Case Management: Enable early intervention strategies and oversee the holistic reintegration process for employees facing long-term absences.
Crisis & Stakeholder Care: Ensure robust resourcing and leadership for local Crisis Management teams (e.g., Threat Management, Family Assistance) and foster high-trust relationships with employee networks.
