Provide practical legal advice and support on international business matters in a fast-paced environment.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, data processing, and API integration contracts.
Advise business and product teams on legal issues related to technology development, data usage, cybersecurity, and intellectual property ownership.
Support procurement and vendor management by assessing contract risk, ensuring regulatory and data privacy compliance, and maintaining consistent commercial terms.
Develop and maintain standard contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation strategies to streamline deal execution and ensure alignment with corporate policy.
Requirements
7+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on software licensing, SaaS, cloud services, and technology transactions.
Strong understanding of intellectual property, data privacy (PIPEDA), and commercial contract principles.
Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
