Position Summary - Responsible for assisting physicians with invasive cardiovascular procedures such as coronary angiograms, stent placement, pacemaker/ICD insertion and replacement, peripheral vascular angiograms and hemodynamic monitoring Education - Associates Degree in Nursing or Radiology Technology required. RCIS certification with at least 2 years cath lab experience will be considered in lieu of Associates Degree. Licenses and Certification - Current RN Illinois License or x-ray license required - ARRT required for RT(R) techs - RCIS certification is preferred to attain Tier III. - ACLS required for RN's - BLS required for RT(R) Experience and Skills - Technical Experience: 2 years clinical experience in critical care nursing or radiology/cardiology imaging preferred. Role Specific Responsibilities - Tier I - scrubs, x-rays, circulates, or monitors: left heart caths, right heart caths, coronary interventions and diagnostic peripheral vascular angiograms - Tier II - Scrubs, x-rays, circulates, or monitors: peripheral vascular interventions, complex coronary interventions and Biventricular cardiac devices. - Tier III -Scrubs, x-rays, circulates, or monitors: for AAAs, carotid stents, watchman, TAVR/TMVR, and ASD/PFO procedures. - Assist in daily management of inventory (All levels) Compensation (Commensurate with experience): $31.80 - $49.29 To access our Benefits Guide/Plan Information, please click the link below: http://www.sih.net/careers/benefits
