The Wellness Center Coordinator is responsible for overseeing on-site operations and employee experience within the Wellness Center. This role ensures smooth day-to-day execution of programming, recovery services, scheduling, and facility flow.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; minimum High School Diploma required
2-4 years of experience in fitness, wellness, fitness, or customer-facing operations preferred
Fitness, wellness, or performance-based background strongly preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment
Experience in healthcare or corporate wellness settings preferred
Experience supporting communications, employee engagement initiatives, or promotional efforts preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong operational accountability
A positive personality with a passion for assisting others in achieving their goals
CPR/AED certification required
Proficient in Microsoft Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Daily Operations
Serve as the primary on-site operational lead during assigned shifts
Open and close the Wellness Center according to operational procedures
Ensure all wellness and recovery spaces are clean, organized, and fully operational
Monitor scheduling and utilization of fitness classes, recovery services, hyperbaric sessions, and wellness and departmental retreats
Coordinate room setups, transitions, and operational readiness between programming sessions
Assist with staffing coordination and communication with instructors and vendors
Support operational tasks, wellness initiatives, and special projects as assigned
Member Experience
Greet and assist employees, visitors, wellness participants, and vendors
Provide orientation to wellness center spaces, services, equipment, and wellness offerings
Support class check-in, participant flow, and customer service needs
Address operational issues and escalate concerns appropriately
Help maintain a welcoming, high-energy, hospitality-focused environment
Support a seamless wellness experience for employees throughout the facility
Program & Event Support
Coordinate logistics and operational support for staff immersion experiences, workshops and wellness events and internal wellness initiatives
Support instructors and facilitators during programs, classes, and events
Assist with scheduling and communication related to wellness programming
Support vendor coordination, operational communication, scheduling logistics, and follow-up needs
Assisting with implementation and operational support for enterprise wellness initiatives

Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $26.65 - $40.87. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.
