Your New Role Lead the delivery of a high-quality operations service to both insurance and reinsurance underwriting teams, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and aligned to defined service standards Manage and develop a team, providing coaching, feedback and support to enable strong individual and team performance Oversee the distribution and prioritisation of workload to ensure processing, invoicing and credit control activities are completed in line with SLAs Monitor team performance across production, quality and productivity metrics, providing insights and reporting to senior stakeholders Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including underwriting, finance and credit control teams to ensure seamless operational delivery Maintain oversight of premium processing, payment tracking and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and visibility of key data Establish and continuously improve operational processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, controls and service delivery Ensure robust governance frameworks are in place, proactively identifying risks and maintaining appropriate controls and reporting structures Manage resource planning and forecasting to ensure the team is effectively structured to meet business demand, including peak periods Collaborate with external partners including brokers and insurance companies where required, supporting relationship management and issue resolution About You Demonstrated experience within insurance operations, preferably supporting underwriting teams Experience guiding or supporting others, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop individuals to perform at their best Proven ability to take ownership of responsibilities and operate with increasing levels of accountability Confident working with data and using it to monitor performance, identify trends and support decision-making Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and functions A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and service delivery
