DevOps Engineer, AVP

Responsibilities

• We'll look to you to build and leverage internal and external relationships to make sure that decisions made are commercially focused and create long-term value for the bank. You'll also be collaborating in the development of the DevOps strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
• In addition, you'll be:
• Designing and overseeing the architecture of systems and applications with a focus on scalability and reliability
• Analysing system performance and optimising infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Driving innovation by evaluating and integrating new technologies that enhance the DevOps ecosystem
• Leading the automation of advanced workflows, creating reusable modules and templates
• Making sure that practices align with compliance requirements and industry standards
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance
• The skills you'll need
• To take on this role, you'll need knowledge of the core principles and benefits of DevOps, paired with experience with common DevOps tools, source code management, deployment, and configuration tooling.
• You'll also need:
• Experience in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Gitlab and CI/CD pipeline
• Knowledge and experience of Agile ways of working
