Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; hands-on technical training or
- certification in automotive, electrical, or similar fields is a plus
- Strong hands-on background in a comparable role, with a deep
- understanding of engineering concepts and applications
- Skilled in mechanical assembly and fabrication, with proficiency in
- machine shop tools and expert use of hand/power tools
- 1000V HV awareness
- Capable of independently disassembling and reassembling
- electromechanical assemblies
- Comfortable using standard lab instruments such as multimeters, DAQ
- systems, and power supplies
- Experience with wiring harness design and fabrication, including
- soldering, crimping, and following wiring diagrams
- Strong understanding of physics and engineering fundamentals, with the
- ability to apply principles to solve complex problems
- Excellent documentation and written communication skills, with
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Exposure to LabVIEW, Python, or equivalent is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with frequent standing, walking, and bending in
- a fast-paced lab environment
- The pay for this position ranges from $45.00 to $60.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
