Create designs for a variety of apparel classifications for Jordan Men's Streetwear Apparel, ranging from seasonal capsule collection to high volume franchise apparel with the guidance from Senior Manager.
Craft the future, distinct look of Jordan Streetwear Apparel, while working under the direction of our Streetwear Product Creative Director.
Present design concepts to various internal audiences with the support from Senior Manager.
Partner and clearly communicate with all cross-functional members within Design, Technical Development and Product Management to ensure feasibility of designs against product creation timelines.
Provide design support for broader Apparel Design team as needed, outside of assigned projects.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This position will report into the Senior Manager, Streetwear Men's Apparel and will work closely with the streetwear design team and streetwear triad partners.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related design field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
3+ years of relevant work experience in a design environment working with materials, trims, design and fit.
Ability to perform foundational design skills, encompassing 2D CADS + croquis sketching, developing head-to-toe concepts, conducting prototype fittings, and creating detailed tech packs. 3D experience is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of how materials, silhouettes, proportions, trims, and color theory work together to create a cohesive head-to-toe look.
Strong visual and verbal presentation skills and storytelling to articulate design concepts and narratives.
Understands how to balance meeting business objectives while continuously pushing the boundaries of Jordan design.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines at once.
Experience using Illustrator & Photoshop, Miro, CLO, Keynote, Vizcom.
