Job Description:
The Junior Payment Operations Analyst supports the day-to-day execution, monitoring, and improvement of payment operations across multiple platforms.
The role also contributes to product and data initiatives, ensuring efficient payment flows, high service quality, and continuous improvement of the payment ecosystem.The role collaborates closely with Product, Operations, Engineering, QA, Compliance, Vendors, and Country stakeholders to ensure payment products remain scalable, compliant, operationally efficient, and aligned with business and customer needs. 1. Payment Operations (≈40%)
Provide first-line support for payment-related incidents (Salesforce, Carta, Apata, etc.)
Monitor payment flows, incidents, and alerts, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
Track and escalate issues to second-line teams where required
Support operational follow-up of payment platforms (bug tracking, improvements, QBRs)
Prepare and maintain reporting (e.g. Apple Pay performance)
Support Purchase Order (PO) processing and invoice verification
Contribute to payment-related projects and initiatives in Belgium
2. Product & Delivery Support (≈25%)
Support the collection and structuring of business and operational needs
Assist in drafting user stories and functional documentation
Participate in testing activities (UAT, defect tracking, follow-up)
Contribute to Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint follow-up)
Support coordination between business, operations, and IT teams
3. Merchant Operations (≈20%)
Monitor and analyse transaction discrepancies (e.g. unmatched transactions)
Support the resolution of merchant-related operational issues
Contribute to improving merchant tools and operational processes
4. Data & Reporting (≈15%)
Act as point of contact with Data teams for dashboards and reporting needs
Support the creation and enhancement of operational dashboards
