At least four (4) years' experience in Nursing with two (2) years concurrent experience applying educational concepts, including program planning and evaluation.
Knowledge of nursing and adult educational theories to assess, plan, implement and evaluate quality educational programs.
Analytic skills necessary to develop and evaluate educational programs and assess learning needs of staff.
Licensures, Certifications
Must possess current, unencumbered Maryland State license as a Registered Nurse.
Certification as C.P.R. instructor by American Heart Association preferred.
Completion of "Healthcare Provider" CPR course, every (2) years
Obtain certification as a professional development specialist within 4 years of hire.
