Live Host / Commentator

Responsibilities

• Livestream to our Twitch & internal channels
• Host a pregame show going over each player: their stats, character / team selection, and explain who you think is going to win and WHY
• Speak with players in pre / post game interviews to hear their perspectives, and push storylines for viewers to follow
• Give entertaining, authentic, & energetic commentary to guide viewers through the match
• Help viewers better understand what they are watching, break down big moments, and explain the game to someone who may be watching for the first time
• Interact with the viewers in our live chat, to help build our community
• Assist with content around the app (informational / promotional videos for your league)

Requirements

• Personable, professional, entertaining, and comfortable being on live video/audio
• Innovative and always looking for ways to make your streams more entertaining
• Have experience producing / running your own streams via OBS
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to remain calm and professional with live viewers who may be frustrated
• Highly reliable and organized - you show up on time, every time
• Extremely passionate about gaming, and willing to learn everything there is to know about our leagues / players
• Quick thinker who can troubleshoot issues independently before escalating
• Comfortable multitasking across Discord, OBS, and slack channels
• Knowledgeable in major competitive games (Madden, NBA 2K, FC, COD, etc.)
