Support daily import operations, ensuring the timely and compliant clearance, processing, and movement of goods.
Accurately prepare, review, and maintain import documentation, identifying and escalating discrepancies where necessary.
Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and transport providers to support smooth operational processes.
Proactively identify operational issues, delays, or inefficiencies and report them to the Import supervisor while assisting in implementing solutions.
Manage storage activities, ensuring goods are correctly received, recorded, stored, and organised to maintain stock accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control processes to ensure accurate storage records are maintained.
Coordinate despatch activities, ensuring orders and shipments are prepared accurately, labelled correctly, and dispatched on time.
Ensure all import, storage, and despatch activities are completed in compliance with customs regulations, company procedures, and health and safety requirements.
Maintain accurate operational records and support reporting requirements as requested by the Import Supervisor.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, supportive, and efficient working environment.
Contribute ideas to improve processes, productivity, and workflow efficiency.
