Torch Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and analysis of all-digital tactical missile systems on Redstone Arsenal. Job Duties: Integrate vendor-supplied models and simulations into a common simulation framework and scene generation environment. Develop new models based on physics and math principles. Perform detailed analysis of models and integrated system performance. Job Requirements: US Citizenship. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software development, system design and integration, and/or data analysis. Active Secret security clearance. Experience with MATLAB, C++, Python, Fortran, or other programming languages. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as an individual. Preferred Requirements: Experience presenting technical findings and analysis results. Basic understanding of missile kinematics. Experience with IR and/or RF sensor phenomenology and target signatures. Experience developing or integrating all-digital simulations and models. Experience devising and executing Monte Carlo, statistical, and sensitivity studies.
