Candidate will be an employee of the Automation group supporting the manufacturing of Medium and Low Volt Cable. This individual will provide technical support in the area of PC and PLC based controls and automation for improvement projects and production support.

Requirements
B.S. in Engineering or Computer Science, or Associate/Technical degree in Controls, Automation, Mechatronics; or 5 years of hands-on experience
Excellent planning, communication, and organizational skills
Detail oriented with proven analytical, problem identification and resolution skills
Ability to contribute to the team's culture of continuous process changes/improvements
Ability to work with little supervision
Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 HSE guidelines
Demonstrated capability of results through people, technology, and process
Preferred:
Experience working with highly automated systems or processes preferred (manufacturing experience is a plus but not required)
Experience programming PLCs such as Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Modicon, Siemens, or comparable platforms
Experience in PLC programming utilizing IEC programming languages including Ladder, Sequential function charts, Structured text, and Function Block Diagrams
Experience with Profibus, Ethernet and Modbus+ communication protocols
Experience in programming SCADA Software with PC to PLC transactions and PC to Database transactions
Experience in programming servo drives and motion controllers
