Provide individualized coaching and advising to 120 - 160 college students, supporting their academic, personal, and career development
Design and facilitate workshops, events, and initiatives that build community, expand professional networks, and enhance participants' personal and career readiness
Monitor student progress through data-driven approaches, identifying early intervention opportunities to ensure student success
Collaborate with campus partners, employers, and community organizations to create pathways for student success
Deliver both in-person and virtual programming to meet students where they are
Support program-wide initiatives that strengthen the education-to-workforce pipeline
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of experience as an academic coach, advisor, or similar role in higher education or education-related settings
Demonstrated track record of supporting student success, retention, and completion
Strong work ethic with ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high standards
Growth mindset with commitment to continuous learning and innovation
Deep understanding of the student lifecycle and the critical partnership between education and workforce development
Data fluency with ability to track, analyze, and report on student outcomes
Experience designing and facilitating student programming
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree required

Bilingual capabilities (Spanish)
Experience working with first-generation college students
Knowledge of challenges facing immigrant students in higher education, as the majority of the caseload of this coach will be supporting the Golden Door Scholars program
Knowledge of workforce development and career readiness strategies
Familiarity with college persistence frameworks and best practices
Benefits
