Additional Information

About ALSO. We're ALSO, an electric mobility company originally conceived as a part of Rivian. We're a passionate team of builders, dreamers, doers and innovators, focused on creating entirely new (not to mention, innovative and delightful) vertically integrated, small EVs designed to meet the global mobility challenges of today and tomorrow. Our mission is to inspire everyone to ride ALSO-replacing many local car, truck and SUV miles with ones on vehicles that are more affordable, more enjoyable and 10-50x more efficient. ALSO is looking for a Vehicle Modeling Engineer, Emerging Markets to lead the development of system-level and high-fidelity models for small electric vehicles. This role is responsible for full vehicle performance modeling, including powertrain, energy, electrical dynamics, and thermal behavior, supporting development from concept through validation and volume production. The engineer will build and maintain multi-domain models of vehicle subsystems, translate simulation results into vehicle requirements and performance targets, and collaborate closely with hardware, software, controls, reliability, and test teams to optimize vehicle performance and ensure system robustness. This role is central to establishing vehicle capabilities, performance attributes, efficiency targets, range estimation, and thermal management strategies for the platform.
