Job Description:
We are looking for a creative problem-solver to drive new product development and lead material and process investigations. You'll bridge the gap between initial concept and final production, partnering closely with our plant operations teams to bring new ideas to life.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Focus on chemicals as it relates to improved plant performance, cost reduction, and optimization
Source, develop, and test new chemicals for thermoset composite materials
Develop and implement new quality control and R&D testing (incoming, in-process, and finished materials)
Assist with raw material sourcing
Ensure best practices collecting experimental data
Contribution to team GMP and safety roles
R&D Laboratory equipment operation to produce samples for studies
R&D Laboratory cleanliness and organization
Quality Laboratory testing and optimization studies as needed
Contribute and participate in knowledge management methods and policies
Keep work area clean and orderly
Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Additional duties as assigned by management
