Job Description:
The Prequalification Professional serves as a financial, safety, and insurance analyst within the centralized prequalification team. Their primary responsibility is to assess the overall risk associated with the company's trade partners. This role involves close collaboration with business unit leads, project team leads, and trade partners, requiring the ability to excel in a dynamic, detail-oriented work environment. Leads trade partner prequalification : Initiates and oversees the prequalification process for all Fortis trade partners, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the process.
Manages prequalification pipeline : Handles multiple prequalification's simultaneously at different stages, maintaining organized records for each one.
Evaluates prequalification data : Reviews and assesses submitted prequalification materials, including financial statements, safety documents, insurance certificates, business registrations, and licensing documents
Facilitates internal review : Coordinates the internal review of prequalification documents, escalating them to the appropriate individuals as necessary.
Cultural ambassador: Successfully communicates Fortis's culture through initial and ongoing interactions with trade partners, tailoring communication methods to each situation.
Assist in other duties as assigned, relevant to the achievement of the position's and team's objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in related degree program, or equivalent work experience.
