About the role

Job Responsibilities:- Tender Management: Manage the end-to-end tender process, including attending tender briefings and site visits, preparing tender submissions, presentations and write-ups, conducting bid evaluations, and handling negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Cost Planning & Estimation: Manage and oversee cost plans, budgets, BOQs, and tender documentation, with hands-on involvement in cost estimation when required. Design & Coordination: Support design coordination by liaising with internal teams and external designers/consultants, provide commercial input, and review designers' proposed value engineering by assessing and advising on cost implications for tender pricing. Cost Control & Reporting: Maintain strong knowledge of market rates andmarket conditions, monitor tender costs and commitments, and prepare regular reports on tender activities and performance. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor tender team members while driving continuous improvement and best practices in line with company strategy. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies, and support contract reviews, negotiations, claims, and dispute resolution. Industry Awareness: Maintain a good understanding of the construction industry and keep abreast of market trends and activities. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Job Requirement:- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; At least 10 years of experience in tender management or project management in the engineering / construction industry, for Cleanroom/ semiconductor/ pharmaceutical projects; Strong knowledge on M&E systems, tender management, M&E quantity surveying work and contract administration; Ability to concurrently manage multiple tenders, prepare technical proposal including write-up for tender submissions and handle any ad hoc reports; Proficient in Microsoft software (such as Powerpoints, Excel, Words, Projects etc.) or cost management tools, project schedules tools; Effective communication skills, strong presentation skills, strategic thinking, team player and customer oriented; Proactive, self-motivated, passionate with a positive working attitude, can lead and motivate team; and Existing relationship with the key industry players is a plus point.
