Providing person-centred care and support to individuals with a range of needs
Making a difference every day by supporting people with their independence, wellbeing and confidence
Developing communication skills to build positive relationships with residents, families and professionals
Supporting daily living activities such as personal care, nutrition and wellbeing
Promoting dignity, respect, safeguarding and equality in all aspects of care
Learning how to use care plans and digital systems to record what you do
Working as part of a team with colleagues and health professionals to deliver high-quality care
What could this lead to?
While not guaranteed, many apprentices go on to permanent roles with St Monica Trust. Even if that isn't what you're looking for, you'll finish with:

Good communication skills and the ability to listen, understand and show

Basic IT skills to record information accurately (e.g. care notes and reports)
Reliability, patience and a professional approach to supporting others
Ability to work as part of a team and use your initiative when needed
English and Maths GCSEs at grade 4/C (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards achieving them as part of your apprenticeship

You'll earn while you learn, gaining a Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification alongside hands-on experience in a professional, supportive environment.

Monday - Sunday, 07:00 - 14:30 or 14:00 - 21:30 (every other weekend)
