There is one vacancy available in one of the following potential duty locations: Denver, CO/ Fort Collins, CO/ Lakewood, CO/ Kansas City, MO This position is located at Office of the Chief Information Officer Client Experience Center - CEC. This is not a remote position. You will be required to be in your duty station office per CEC telework policy. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. USAJOBS Help Center - How to supply work experience Specialized Experience for the GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes demonstrated achievement as a senior IT systems administrator within an enterprise scale IT infrastructure, with experience utilizing a wide range of server operating systems and technical support functions . Examples of such experience include: Provide recommendations on architectural modifications, system enhancements, and technology selections to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational strategy; OR - Perform application development and enhancement work across multiple systems to support workflow optimization, process automation, data integration, and customer-facing service delivery; OR -Serve as a technical authority in the design, acquisition, implementation, and operation of Microsoft server operating system platforms and associated Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
