Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Employee Relations Counselor through July 12th at 11:59 p.m. This role follows a hybrid work model, with a combination of remote and in‑office work aligned with business needs. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Start-to-finish handling of investigative processes including intake, strategic planning, conducting interviews, data (evidence) gathering and analysis, report writing, updating case management systems, involving stakeholders and providing updates. Provide consultative services to business management at all levels on topics including performance management, discipline, and other corrective actions. Facilitate dispute and conflict resolution processes. Partner with other Chevron organizations pertaining to work assignments (e.g., Legal, Global Security, IT Forensics, Labor Relations, Compliance). Represent Chevron through professional organizations to benchmark and understand external ER-related matters, best practices, processes, and tools. Attend unemployment claims appeal hearings as a Chevron representative. Lead and/or support special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, or a related HR discipline. Fluent English. Practical application of organizational policies, internal processes, and local labor legislation. Strong attention to detail including demonstrated expertise analyzing and summarizing relevant facts appropriate for intended audience. Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of personnel effectively and timely. Demonstrated independent decision-making ability, prioritization skills, and project planning and management. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Ability to travel occasionally, as required by the role. Proficiency with Microsoft products including Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Co‑Pilot.
