Description of Work Work in this class involves assisting the Warden IV in the management and operation of Warren Correctional Institution. This position has line supervision over the custody and operation functions but may assist the Warden in other areas. This facility houses and provides services for a maximum of 851 offenders. Responsibilities may include management of multiple locations, usually a minimum custody facility which is managed within the scope of the larger institution. Operation complexities are enhanced by considerable offender movement in support of a wide variety of programs, multiple locations, multiple populations and/or specialized services. This position reports directly to the Correctional Administrator. There is also a Correction Enterprise plant (Janitorial Products) on site. This position is located at Warren Correctional Institution, Manson NC, Warren County and is part of Central Region. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Grade Range: $55.221.00 - $96,639.00 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.
