Mō te tūranga | About the role This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll oversee traffic management across active worksites, helping keep our projects running safely and smoothly. You'll work closely with Traffic Controllers, Shadow Drivers, engineers, TMP designers and site leaders to bring plans to life on site and respond to changing conditions in real time. Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities Lead and support Traffic Controllers and Shadow Drivers on site. Implement TTM plans and maintain safe, compliant traffic management layouts. Coordinate the set-up, monitoring, adjustment and pack-down of TTM. Make real-time decisions to respond to site conditions and keep people safe. Work closely with engineers, TMP designers, clients and the public. Use digital tools such as iPads for plans, records and reporting. Proven experience as an STMS, including leading crews on site. Strong communication skills and the confidence to build good working relationships on site. A proactive, accountable approach with high standards and low ego. A strong focus on safety, wellbeing and doing the job right. Comfortable working hands-on outdoors in varying conditions.
