As a member of the Maintenance Team, the Maintenance Technician - Tool & Die Maker is responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining dies, tooling, and production equipment. This role supports equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and ensures safe, efficient operations in a manufacturing environment.
Fabricate, repair, and modify dies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling
Set up and operate machining equipment (lathe, mill, grinder, drill)
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Inspect components using precision measuring tools
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and tooling issues to support uptime
Complete work orders and document maintenance activities
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams
Follow all safety policies including LOTO procedures
Actively participates in continuous improvement and corrective action activities
Perform housekeeping, 5-S, and other duties as assigned
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. PPE required. Physical demands include standing, lifting, bending, and use of tools.
