We are seeking an experienced, commercially-driven Global Key Account Manager to lead and expand our presence in the coatings and specialty applications markets globally.
You will operate in R&D-driven customer environments, working closely with formulation experts, innovation teams and decision-makers to shape new applications and long-term value propositions.
Act as a strategic partner to customers across R&D, procurement and management
Grow and manage a portfolio of global and strategic accounts within coatings and specialty applications
Develop new business opportunities and applications in close collaboration with customers and R&D
Drive market development and adoption of ROCKWOOL fiber solutions
Translate technical capabilities into clear, value-based customer propositions
Contribute to innovation, portfolio development and go-to-market strategies
Represent ROCKWOOL Core Solutions at international customer meetings and industry events
Monitor market trends and report on pipeline, performance and forecasts
What you bring:
Proven experience in B2B technical sales, business development, or key account management within specialty chemicals, coatings, or related industries
University degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering)
Strong understanding of formulation-driven markets and customer decision processes
Ability to operate comfortably at the interface of R&D, commercial teams and senior stakeholders
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Growth- and results-oriented approach, with the ability to spot and develop new opportunities
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus (e.g., Spanish)
Willingness and ability to travel internationally (approximately 35-40% of the time), primarily across Europe, Asia and North America
