Program Coordinator -Newborn Screening -Days Under the guidance of the Director, the Program Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the coordination, implementation and administrative duties for assigned department and program. Works in collaboration with community-based organizations, area hospitals, off-site practices, and community practitioners to ensure productivity of program. Oversees program management and outcomes reporting. The PC must have clinical knowledge of the newborn and postpartum patient populations, as well as newborn screening regulations and processes. This position is for the LMH campus , 170 William Street The PC role will ensure all screenings are performed, all applicable state documentation is received, and all families are connected to appropriate resources. The position will also function as a liaison between the NYS Dept. of Health, providers, and families. The PC may perform blood collection and other clinical tasks as needed. Preferred Criteria: Masters in Nursing or related field.
