When & where: Where : Sleepy Hollow NY When : 4 days on-site plus one work from home day Discover your role: Lead enterprise-level efforts to drive progress towards our 2030 Planet goals, including partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute strategic action plans Work hand-in-hand with subject matter experts to develop and advance strategies on evolving climate and nature topics, such as sustainable packaging, environmental lifecycle assessments, and nature-based solutions Lead climate and nature risk assessments, action plans, and reporting in line with TCFD and TNFD frameworks and regulatory requirements Lead enterprise-wide data collection, management and validation of environmental data across GHG emissions, energy, water, and waste Identify and implement opportunities to enhance environmental performance, including improvements to data quality, integrity and management Own Regeneron's environmental data management system (UL360) and ensure data governance frameworks are robust and audit-ready Lead relevant readiness efforts for upcoming regulatory requirements, such as the EU Taxonomy and California Climate Rules Engage colleagues and harness their shared passion for sustainability to drive corporate sustainability priorities Build relationships with external stakeholders, including industry peers, disclosure frameworks, and ratings agencies Oversee cross-functional efforts to develop and maintain environmental disclosures, including our annual Responsibility Report, CDP submission, ESG ratings and rankings, tender applications, and policies and position statements This role requires: 10-15 years of experience in environmental sustainability with a proven track record of developing and implementing strategies Deep technical expertise in GHG accounting, environmental data management, and TCFD/TNFD frameworks Strong command of international environmental standards (e.g. GHG Protocol) and evolving regulatory requirements (EU CSRD, California SB253/SB261) Experience with environmental data systems (e.g. UL360, Workiva, or similar) and a commitment to data quality and integrity Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to translate complex environmental topics for executive and non-technical audiences Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred Does this sound like you?
